![]() ![]() This usually takes place as the screen is still refreshing, producing screen-tear, and a wholly inconsistent performance profile - input lag and visual feedback vary from moment to moment, often producing a sub-par experience. There's no synchronisation with the display, meaning that frames are delivered as soon as the GPU finishes rendering them. ![]() Out of the box, the only alternative is to disengage v-sync, allowing the game to run completely unlocked. This attempts to synchronise gameplay with the refresh rate of the display, in most cases limiting your system to 60fps. Most PC games only have one frame-rate limiter available: turning v-sync on. There's just one problem - only the tiniest minority of PC games actually offer the option to run at a locked 30fps. ![]() In a wealth of scenarios, limiting frame-rate can result in a markedly smoother gameplay experience. But that's not to say that the console-standard 30fps isn't a good fit for certain hardware specs, or specific titles. If you fancy gaming at 2.5K, or 4K, at 60fps, 120fps or even higher, the PC is the only format with the flexibility and scalability to deliver. ![]() My internet doesn't dip or anything either while streaming so yeah, not too sure but this isn't quite my forte either.Top-of-the-line enthusiast gaming PCs are built for raw performance, boasting technical specifications with far more horsepower than the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, opening up a wealth of gameplay options unavailable to console owners. I have GTX 1080 and when I look through my performance tab nothing even spikes past 40% use while gaming and streaming. Regrettably I don't know how to post any logs or anything but I would greatly appreciate help from the community. While on the other hand, Hero Siege has quite a few active sprites and I believe also has music playing. The beginning of Hero Siege and Enter the Gungeon have no action/combat however I believe Enter the Gungeon has no ambient music and almost no moving sprites aside from the characters. Selecting characters and navigating menu's was fine but the moment they game started and they could move they experiencing massive FPS drops and could not play. I tested this on an additional game, Hero Siege. They had minimal input lag at the beginning of the game and while navigating menus, but when we entered the "gungeon" to begin fighting they would experience crippling FPS drops to the point their game would be unplayable from their (client side) end. I was the host and they were client side. I was attempting to play Enter the Gungeon with two different friends of mine (one at a time). ![]()
